Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 release date
The Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 release date is Wednesday, April 23, 2025. This update is expected to go live at 8pm PT / 11pm ET / 4am BST / 5am CET / 1pm AEST.
ZZZ’s servers go offline for scheduled maintenance for approximately five hours before the next update. HoYoverse usually compensates players with free banner currency for every hour the servers are down, so remember to check your mailbox for ZZZ Polychrome once 1.7 goes live.
HoYoverse’s gacha games run on a six-week rotation, and we expect the 1.7 update to conclude on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 livestream
The Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 livestream aired on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 4:30am PT / 7:30am ET / 12:30pm BST / 1:30pm CET / 9:30pm AEDT.
This pre-release special program included Zenless Zone Zero codes for players to redeem for a limited time following the broadcast.
Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 banners

The Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 banners include:

Their signature S-Rank Zenless Zone Zero W-Engines will also be available to pull from the accompanying weapon banner.
We’re still waiting for the Zenless Zone Zero Bangboo for Obol Squad to arrive, but version 1.7 introduces Robin (S-Rank), the Mockingbird faction Bangboo, plus Overtimeboo (A-Rank).
Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 story
The ZZZ 1.7 story introduces the seventh main chapter, and we expect it to tie up any loose ends before version 2.0 arrives. Bury Your Tears With the Past (B) is the final epilogue of chapter one in Phaethon’s Story. We expect stark revelations about the TOPS Alliance and its most prominent members, laying the groundwork for a bold new chapter.
Following Hugo’s descent into the Hollow, New Eridu’s mayor invites Phaethon and Mockingbird to cooperate on resolving the Sacrifice crisis together. Phaethon teams up with Vivian to go undercover and gather intel, putting them directly in the path of Vivian’s old acquaintances. We’ll discover the truth at the heart of the Exaltist conspiracy and Mockingbird’s fall in this explosive finale.
Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 events
Zenless Zone Zero events are limited-time commissions, scenarios, and alternate game modes that allow Proxies to pick up rare and unique rewards. Some events are announced in name only, so watch out for them as and when they appear in the RPG game.
