UK-based company Testronic has opened a Quality Assurance (QA) testing facility in Manila, Philippines.
The new location is in the City of Mandaluyong, specifically the Mega Tower in the Ortigas business district. The team, focused on Functionality QA services, is led by APAC program director Ralph Quiambao, who’s been in the company for almost ten years.
“Testronic now has 2,000 employees worldwide and, by opening our new office, we are adding the capacity for 360 additional professionals,” Quiambao said in the press release. “I’ve been leading the QA team here for 12 years and games are more than just a job for us. It’s our passion.”
“This expansion is not just about infrastructure — it’s about investing in people and passion,” reaffirmed Testronic’s senior VP of sales & marketing Adam Keating. “We’re excited to demonstrate to our clients the high level of QA services our team at Manila can provide.”
Alongside the primary London office, the Manila location joins five other existing facilities across Warsaw, Bucharest, New Orleans, Belgrade, and Lisbon.
Testronic has provided outsourcing services for Riot Games, Square Enix, Tencent Games, and others. It’s part of the parent company Catalis Group, which includes studios Curve Games and Secret 6. The company acquired the latter, which has credits in projects like Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us Part II, back in 2023 for an undisclosed fee.
