Newsbrief: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 developer Sandfall Interactive and publisher Kepler Interactive have announced that over 5 million copies of the French studio’s turn-based role-playing game have been sold worldwide.
The game crossed this milestone in just under 7 months after launching in April 2025.
Sandfall Interactive creative director Guillaume Broche said that the studio is releasing a free content update for Expedition 33 as a “thank-you” to players in a statement accompanying the news. “We spent years working on our dream project, and to know it has resonated with fans around the world in such a powerful way is both wonderful and overwhelming,” he said.
