Awesome Games Done Quick 2026 (AGDQ) has raised over $2.44 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
The latest edition of the annual charity speedrunning marathon was held in Pittsburgh and ran from January 4 to January 10.
Thousands of attendees supported the event in person, while others around the world watched along via 24-hour livestreams on Twitch and YouTube.
The fundraiser sees a cohort of speedrunners race through a kaleidoscope of video games, which this year included Super Mario 64, Mario Kart World, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (played by French-styled cosplayers), American Truck Simulator, and Resident Evil 2 Remake (completed using a Guitar Hero controller).
Each run is archived on the official Games Done Quick YouTube channel, which eclipsed 1 million subscribers following AGDQ 2026.
Games Done Quick has raised almost $60 million for charities such as Doctors Without Borders, the Prevent Cancer Foundation, Malala Fund, and Organization for Autism Research since its inception in 2010.
Upcoming Games Done Quick events include Back to Black—the speedrunning event organized by the Black in a Flash community—and Summer Games Done Quick. Those events will return in February and July, respectively.
