Newsbrief: Oscar Jilsén and Mikael Mård, two of the co-founders of Coffee Stain Studios—of Goat Simulator and Satisfactory fame—have unveiled a new studio alongside a cohort that includes Paradox’s former product owner and programmer manager, Johan Gustafsson.
Announced via a press release, Feeble Minds is a ten-person Swedish studio founded in 2022. The staff also includes Satisfactory composer and Insert Coin founder Jannik Reuterberg and former PocApp Studios art director Sofie Irenheim.
“At Feeble Minds, we have a mix of experienced people who worked on some big titles at places like Coffee Stain and Paradox, alongside fresh new talent,” said Reuterberg, the CEO of the new studio. “In that image, we are working hard to create a rich world that combines the best elements of games we love with new ideas to create something new and amazing.”
Feeble Minds’ debut title is called Serpent’s Gaze, introduced as a soulslike for up to four players that also draws inspiration from roguelikes. A demo will be available on Steam later today.
