Elden Ring Nightreign Everdark Sovereign schedule

What is the current Elden Ring Nightreign Everdark Sovereign schedule? As if Nightreign wasn’t difficult enough, the developers have added a new mechanic to the game that strengthens specific Night Lords at the end of each expedition. The rewards for taking down these enemies can drastically change your builds, so it’s definitely worth pursuing to become significantly stronger.

These supercharged Elden Ring Nightreign bosses appear on a weekly schedule; if you want to take them all down, you’re going to need to do it sooner rather than later. The Elden Ring Nightreign events in the co-op game are currently available for a limited time, but FromSoftware has said they will be made permanent at a later date.

    Deep of Night explained

Deep of Night is essentially Nightreign’s version of a hard mode, a new difficulty for the very best players. Unlike the expeditions where you pick your desired Nightlord, Deep of Night keeps the Nightlord target hidden until you reach it on the final day, making it difficult to target the Nightlord’s weakness. Similarly, you won’t know what the Shifting Earth event is until you’re in the game.

To make matters worse, you can encounter the Everdark Sovereign Nightlords at the end of your run. Not only are regular enemies stronger than before, but the equipment you find can now contain negative effects. For example, you can find a rare weapon that now contains a debuff to your maximum health when you’re affected by poison.

You aren’t completely in the dark, however, as you have access to three new Relic slots that can be used with Deep of Night-exclusive power-ups. These new Relics offer two effects, making your builds much stronger, particularly when you create synergies with your existing presets.

    Everdark Sovereign events explained

From June 19, one of the seven Night Lords will have a separate Everdark Sovereign expedition at the Roundtable Hold for a week. These expeditions are largely the same, except the final day features an upgraded Night Lord.

Based on what we’ve seen from the Everdark Sovereign Gaping Jaw Night Lord, the boss appears in its second phase from the beginning of the fight and brand new AoE attacks to ramp up the difficulty. This may just be the case for the Gaping Jaw, but the Everdark Sovereign version features the same weaknesses as its standard counterpart. As long as you focus on targeting its weakness (in this case, utilizing poison effects), your strategy for the boss fight should remain the same.

How to unlock Everdark Sovereign events

To take part in an Everdark Sovereign event, you need to defeat the regular version of the selected Night Lord. We highly recommend defeating all seven Night Lords to ensure you can access all current and future Everdark Sovereign events.

    Everdark Sovereign rewards

Defeating the Everdark Sovereign bosses rewards you with Sovereign Sigils, a currency that can be spent on powerful Elden Ring Nightreign Relics, Relic Rites, and skins. While the Relics and Relic Rites are exclusive to the new vendor, the skins are the same as those found at the mirror – the only difference is that you can save your Murk and spend Sovereign Sigils instead.

The vendor located at the Roundtable Hold’s Collector Signboard also allows you to activate Shifting Earth events at will, opening up areas where you’re almost guaranteed to obtain useful items. Though you may not find this particularly useful right now, it will be essential against some of the upcoming Everdark Sovereign Night Lords when it comes to targeting their weaknesses.

You also have access to the ‘Alter Great Site of Grace’ option which lets you switch between its illuminated and dark versions at Roundtable Hold, though this does cost you 1x Sovereign Sigils. Finally, you’re able to pick the ‘Give Cracked Witch’s Brooch’ option for 3x Sovereign Sigils, repairing the Relic to its original form. This doesn’t change the effects of the Relic and is purely for aesthetics, so you may want to hold off on this if you’re running low on cash.

And that’s all you need to know about the Elden Ring Nightreign Everdark Sovereign events. Stay tuned as we’re going to update this guide with the boss schedule as soon as we know it.
